Stationary Crushing and Screening Line

About this solution

A stationary line is designed for quarries and production sites that will operate in one location for an extended period. Feeding, primary and secondary crushing, screening, recirculation and product stockpiling are integrated into one process system.

Project parameters

• Capacity: 100–500 t/h

• Circuit: open or closed

• Crushing stages: two or three, according to the project

• Finished products: customer-specified fractions

About the solution

A stationary plant is selected where stable output, controlled grading and long-term continuous operation are required. Equipment is arranged on permanent foundations with fixed conveyors, maintenance platforms and lifting access planned around the site.

Hard, abrasive granite, basalt, quartzite and river stone generally use a compression circuit comprising a vibrating feeder, jaw crusher, cone crusher and multi-deck screen. Softer, less abrasive limestone or dolomite may use a secondary impact crusher where product shape is important. A third VSI stage and additional screening can be added when fine aggregate or manufactured sand is required.

Process flow

1. The receiving hopper and feeder stabilize the flow; grizzly bars may scalp natural fines.

2. A jaw crusher performs primary reduction.

3. A cone or impact crusher performs secondary crushing.

4. A vibrating screen separates saleable fractions from oversize.

5. Oversize returns to the crusher in a closed circuit.

6. Conveyors deliver each finished product to a separate stockpile or bin.

Practical value

• Matched capacity across all process stages

• Closed-circuit control of the final top size

• Safe maintenance access and lifting zones planned in advance

• Dust suppression, metal separation and interlocks can be included

• Space can be reserved for future capacity expansion

Applications

• Granite and basalt quarries

• Limestone and dolomite processing

• Aggregate for concrete and asphalt

• Road-base and infrastructure materials

Information required for final engineering

Provide a material sample or analysis, feed grading, moisture and clay content, maximum lump size, required capacity and products, site plan and elevations, electrical supply and stockpile locations.
