VSI5X Vertical Shaft Impact Crusher
The VSI5X vertical shaft impact crusher is designed for manufactured-sand production and aggregate shaping. Its high-speed rotor accelerates material and directs it toward the material bed or impact elements inside the crushing chamber.
The series includes four models and supports both central feed and combined central-plus-cascade feed. Model selection depends on raw-material hardness, feed size, required throughput and finished-product requirements.
Overview
VSI5X is used at the final crushing and shaping stage of a crushing and screening plant. It is not intended for primary crushing of large rocks; the material must first be reduced by a jaw, cone or impact crusher to the permissible feed size of the selected model.
Its principal duties are manufactured-sand production and reshaping flat or elongated particles discharged from cone crushers or other machines. VSI5X is therefore applied in concrete and asphalt aggregate production, road-building materials and manufactured-sand plants.
The series comprises VSI5X7615, VSI5X8522, VSI5X9532 and VSI5X1145. The final configuration depends on the rotor operating mode, feeding arrangement, raw-material abrasiveness and moisture, required product sizes and closed-circuit conditions.
