Bazalt

Basalt crushing solutions
Tanker supplies equipment and complete production lines for processing hard, abrasive basalt into the fractions required for concrete, asphalt, road construction and other applications.
About basalt
Basalt is a dense volcanic rock with high strength and wear resistance. Its hardness and abrasiveness place heavy demands on crusher wear parts, so stable feeding, suitable chamber selection and closed-circuit screening are important.
Recommended process
Vibrating feeder → Jaw crusher → Hydraulic cone crusher → Vibrating screen → Finished fractions
The jaw crusher reduces large basalt feed. A cone crusher performs secondary and, where required, tertiary crushing. The screen separates finished fractions and returns oversize to the crushing circuit.
A VSI crusher can be added when a more cubical particle shape or 0–5 mm manufactured sand is required.
Recommended equipment
Vibrating feeder — stable, controlled feeding
Jaw crusher — primary crushing of large hard basalt
Hydraulic cone crusher — efficient secondary crushing of abrasive material
VSI crusher — cubical aggregate and manufactured sand
Vibrating screen — separation of required fractions
Belt conveyors — continuous transfer
Dust suppression — reduction of airborne dust
Typical products
0–5 mm — manufactured sand
5–10 mm — fine aggregate
10–20 mm — concrete and asphalt aggregate
20–40 mm — road base and general construction aggregate
Important selection factors
Confirm maximum feed size, true hardness and abrasiveness, moisture, required capacity and finished fractions. Wear-part selection, dust control and access for maintenance should be included in the final line design.
Request a project solution
Send the required capacity, feed size, product fractions and site location. Tanker will prepare a basalt-crushing and screening configuration for the project.
