TANKER PF Series Impact Crusher

The TANKER PF Series Impact Crusher is a conventional, economical horizontal-shaft impact crusher (HSI) for secondary crushing of limestone, dolomite, concrete and other low- to medium-abrasion materials. The range covers 30–500 t/h with feed up to 700 mm, depending on model, combining a high reduction ratio, cubical aggregate shape and simple mechanical construction. For highly abrasive basalt, quartzite and high-silica granite, a jaw-and-cone crushing circuit should also be evaluated because blow-bar and impact-liner consumption can become expensive.

Overview

PF Series impact crusher overview

PF is a proven, economical HSI for secondary crushing. Blow bars on the horizontal rotor strike the feed at high speed and throw it against impact aprons or plates. Repeated impact breaks the material before bottom discharge.

Typical production line

Hopper → Vibrating Feeder → Jaw Crusher → PF Impact Crusher → Vibrating Screen → Finished Aggregate. PF normally works after a jaw crusher as the secondary stage.

Model selection

PF1007–PF1214: small- and medium-capacity secondary crushing. PF1315–PF1320: medium- and high-capacity duties. PF1520: the larger PF model for higher capacity and larger feed; its large opening does not automatically make it a primary impact crusher.

Structure and wear parts

Main components include the rotor, blow bars, impact apron or plates, side liners, main shaft, bearings, feed opening, discharge opening and drive. Blow bars and impact plates are the main wear parts. The apron gap is adjustable for product size.

When should you choose PF?

Choose PF for limestone, dolomite or similar materials; secondary crushing; cubical aggregate; economical initial investment; and applications without very high abrasion. For basalt, quartzite, high-silica river pebble or abrasive granite, also evaluate a cone crusher.

PF vs PFW vs CI

PF: traditional and economical secondary HSI. PFW: upgraded hydraulic HSI with easier adjustment and maintenance. CI: heavy-duty large-feed HSI for primary and secondary duties.

For selection, provide raw material, maximum feed size, required capacity, final sizes, moisture or clay content and project location.
